Paula Elaine Kay, Democratic candidate for New York’s Assembly District 100, announced recently that she has received the endorsement of the Sullivan County Patrolman’s Benevolent Association (SCPBA).

“The Sullivan County Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association is proud to endorse Paula Elaine Kay for the 100th Assembly District,” the SCPBA said in its statement. “Paula is a former town prosecutor and long-time supporter of the law enforcement community. She understands the law enforcement issues unique to the 100th District and is the only candidate who can get results on the state level. Her positions on bail reform and giving judges back the power to make common-sense decisions are just what we need. In her service as a town attorney and town prosecutor, she has used her legal knowledge to work with our members to protect the community, as well as being a fair and considerate advocate.”

“We urge the voters in Assembly District 100 to cast their ballots for Paula in November,” said SCPBA president Jack Harb. “She is the most qualified candidate for our district, and the members of the PBA look forward to working with her for years to come.”

The 100th Assembly District includes the majority of Sullivan County and the Town of Wallkill and the City of Middletown in Orange County. Kay lives in Rock Hill and is an attorney with a 30-year background in federal, state and municipal government. She has worked for both previous Assemblymembers, Jake and Aileen Gunther.
