Patricia A. (James) Wyss, 76, a longtime resident of Narrowsburg, NY passed away May 23, 2024 at home. The daughter of the late Kenneth and Helen (Sweet) James, she was born on July 11, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY.

Pat was the widow of Francis P. Wyss Sr., who passed away November 2, 2019. A family statement reads: “Pat was a loving, caring and giving person. She took great care of her family. She was an avid gardener; her and Fran kept their property and grass meticulous. She also enjoyed painting and going to the casino. She especially enjoyed family gatherings. Family was very important. She will truly be missed by all.”

Pat is survived by her children: Christine Kelly and husband Carl of Highland Lake, NY; Norman Wyss Jr. and his wife Gina of Narrowsburg; William Wyss and his companion Bonnie Thorp of Narrowsburg; Francis P. Wyss Jr. and his wife Doreen of Narrowsburg; and Denise Matern and her husband Scott of Newfoundland, PA; grandchildren: Kayla Miller and her husband Ryan; Brendan Kelly and his fiancée Danielle Russell; Renee Wyss and her companion Michael Hnatko; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pat is predeceased by her husband Fran; her grandson Francis P. Wyss III; and brothers Kenneth James, Robert James and William James; and her beloved dog Peanut.

Services will be private at the request of the family. Burial will take place in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
Donations can be made in Patricia’s name to Tusten Volunteer Ambulance Service or the Narrowsburg Fire Department.
