MILFORD, PA — For the seventh year in a row, artists from the tri-state area will gather for a Plein Air Painting Party from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 29 throughout Milford.
The borough is like a magnet for artists, one of the artists said. “That’s why we keep coming back. There are few other places that offer such diverse inspiration: the play of light on the waters of the Delaware, the chance to step into history at Grey Towers and that impossible dream of capturing the essence of Milford’s Main Street on canvas.”
Artists and art lovers are invited to come to Milford, enjoy a complimentary breakfast, create, enjoy a complimentary lunch and join in the fun. Participating artists will have their finished work displayed at a reception on Saturday, July 13 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Chant Realty.
Artists of all levels are welcome, and supplies are available for beginners. This is a free event, but registration is required. Email BarryvilleAreaArts@gmail.com to register or for more information.
This event is made possible with funding from the Richard L. Snyder Fund at the Greater Pike Community Foundation.
