Today, our nation lost a monumental figure in Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor. 

As the first woman appointed to the Supreme Court, Justice O’Connor inspired millions of women and blazed a trail followed by some of our nation’s finest legal minds. She was independent and demonstrated a commitment to moderation and civil discourse without compromising her values.
