BEACH LAKE, PA — The Delaware Highlands Conservancy will host a party in the meadow on Sunday, September 17 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Van Scott Nature Reserve, located at 571 Perkins Pond Rd.
At this free community event, there will be a “Close Encounters with Live Birds of Prey” presentation, given by Bill Streeter of the Delaware Valley Raptor Center.
Adam Swartz Puppets will perform Joe Flashlight, CSI (Creature Story Investigator).
The day will also include guided trail walks and crafts, and food will be available for purchase.
Attendees can also bring their own picnics, but are asked to bring a blanket or camp chairs.
