THOMPSON, NY— State police continue to investigate a house explosion in the Town of Thompson on September 30. State police along with fire and EMS personnel responded to 14 James Place for a report of a house explosion. The residence was demolished with several neighboring homes being damaged. The cause of the explosion was a propane leak. There were three injured, one adult, age 39, and two children, aged five and nine. They were transported to Westchester Medical Center where they are last reported in critical condition. The investigation is ongoing.
