I was wondering if the “spasm” Mr. Rogers refers to is the one in which Hamas slaughters peace activists attending a music festival; rapes and kills young women; kidnaps babies, children and elderly women; and mutilates the bodies of women and children. 

In which world is that a legitimate response? 

The military force subjugating the citizens of Gaza is called Hamas. Hamas has used the billions of dollars they have received to enrich themselves and build tunnels, rather than improving the lives of their citizens.

They have no hesitation in sacrificing the lives of their citizens in order to accomplish their self-proclaimed goal of killing Jews, wherever they may be.
