Grover Hermann Auxiliary continues its work

CALLICOON, NY — Garnet Health Doctors, located on the lower level of Garnet Health Medical Center - Catskills’ Grover M. Hermann Hospital, proudly unveiled its new power lift examination table.
The table was purchased thanks to the generosity of the Grover M. Hermann Hospital Auxiliary. The group’s mission is to raise money to enhance the patient experience through services provided on the Callicoon hospital’s campus.
The transition from a stationary exam table to a safer, easily adjustable and more efficient power table will benefit both patients and clinical staff.
This donation was made possible by the generous support of the community through various fundraising initiatives held by the auxiliary. And the group hopes to procure two more power lift examination tables in the future. “Primary care services provided by Garnet Health Doctors on the campus of the Grover M. Hermann hospital have been an invaluable resource to patients and their families residing in western Sullivan County,” said Peggy Richardson, auxiliary president.
In the coming year, the auxiliary will also be actively involved in launching the 2025 Kathleen Moran Scholarship Fund, aimed at supporting Sullivan West student graduates who are pursuing nursing careers. Alongside this initiative, the auxiliary is implementing a donation jar program; the jars are placed at local businesses. More information will be announced soon.
Grover M. Hermann Auxiliary has been dedicated to serving the community for over 50 years. To learn more, call 845/932-8104.
