Regarding Leah Casner’s “Shangri-La”, although I agree that there is a healthy debate to be had concerning the tensions between natives and newcomers, Ms. Casner’s column added nothing substantive to the debate. While Ms. Casner’s column employs the word “snark” in its subtitle, that should not excuse nor grant her permission to maliciously disparage members of our local community. Particularly when she does not offer any solutions to her grievances.
