MILFORD, PA — It’s a well-guarded secret, but one worth sharing. The annual Secret Garden Tour, sponsored by the Milford Garden Club, is scheduled for Saturday, July 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. Visitors will be welcomed into the gardens of club members and supporters.

The Milford Garden Club is celebrating its 30th year with a self-guided tour through the gardens of Milford Borough and the places surrounding it.

Two of the highlighted gardens are public parks in the borough that are maintained by the garden club. Five others are backyard gems maintained by dedicated homeowners.

The tour begins at Remembrance Place, located on the corner of West Ann Street and Elderberry Alley (behind Stroyan Funeral Home).

Advanced tickets cost $15 per person (children under age 12 are welcome and free).

Purchase tickets by sending a check to MGC, PO Box 764, Milford, PA 18337, by Saturday, July 6.

Tickets are also available at the Artesan Exchange, 219 Broad St., or at Willow, 317 Broad St.

“Day of” tickets will be available for $20.

The raffle baskets, prepared by members, center on gardens and offer some thoughtful and special items.

The proceeds go to support the garden club’s beautification program and scholarship opportunities.

For more information, call Theresa Johnson at 570/491-5663 or Valerie Brairton at 908/930-5901.
