ROSCOE, NY — This October 5, author Charles Marinaro will unveil his latest dark fantasy epic, “Reign of Grandeur,” in a book release event at Roscoe’s Dundas Castle. Set against the backdrop of the castle's courtyard, the event is open to the public at no charge.

The book release will feature a brief reading by Marinaro from “Reign of Grandeur,” followed by a Q&A session. Attendees “can dive deeper into the world of royalty, battles, and dragons,” he said. Signed copies of the book will be available for sale.

Fellow authors Pedro Tweed and Andrew Matthews will also present their latest works, offering a diverse selection of storytelling for all guests to enjoy, Marinaro said.

"I feel like this is the perfect time to embrace the fall season by hosting an event at the historical and beautiful Dundas Castle," he added. "The view from the castle is truly breathtaking, and I hope the fall foliage will be in full bloom at the time of the event. The castle is the perfect backdrop for my book as we explore a world filled with royalty, kings, queens, battles and dragons. Writing ‘Reign of Grandeur’ was a chance for me to dig deep creatively and really go big—it’s bloody, unrelenting and packed with drama and twists. I hope readers will enjoy this story as much as I enjoyed writing it.”

Light refreshments and prize giveaways will be on hand, and there will be special gift bags for the first few attendees. The venue's courtyard, typically closed to the public, will offer a rare glimpse into one of Sullivan County’s hidden treasures, making this event a must-attend for both literature and history enthusiasts alike.
