The parade featured a long line of beautiful classic and antique cars ranging from MG’s and Alfa Romeos to old Buicks and VW Buses.

The parade ended in downtown Kauneonga Lake at the Town Square. The festivities continued all day with a chicken BBQ fundraiser hosted by the Kauneonga Lake Firehouse, followed by hours of live music into an evening of outdoor viewing of two Woodstock-related films.

KAUNEONGA LAKE, NY — The businesses on State Route 55 through Kauneonga Lake closed down as did the road for a time on July 27, as the Bethel Peace Parade sauntered down the highway.
The parade, staged in honor of the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Woodstock Festival, was followed by a chicken barbecue, and two Woodstock-related movies shown for free under the stars.
