FORESTBURGH, NY — The stage is set; the spotlight awaits. The Forestburgh Playhouse Academy has announced the return of its Summer Sessions—inviting young artists to shine brighter than ever before.

 

Do you have a budding performer in the house? Look no further! The Forestburgh Playhouse Academy offers two exciting programs this summer, tailored to aspiring young performers of all experience levels.

Musical Theatre Intensive (one week): Dive into a week of song, dance, and performance magic! From July 20 to 27, budding artists aged 8-12 will receive personalized guidance from seasoned theatre professionals. The week culminates in a dazzling performance of an original fractured fairy tale version of Pinocchio.

 
Musical Theatre Summer Session (two weeks): Calling all aspiring performers aged 13-17! Join the Playhouse from July 29 to August 11 for an immersive two-week journey into the world of musical theatre. Collaborate with working directors, choreographers, and music directors from across the country, culminating in a spectacular performance of "The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical"!
