HONESDALE, PA — The Wayne County Arts Alliance (WCAA) kicks off its winter film series, “Enigmatic Endings,” on Sunday, February 17 at 6 p.m. in the community room at the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, 32 Commercial St.
The first in the series is the Chinese film, “Postman in the Mountains.” Based on a short story by author Peng Jianming, and directed by Huo Jianqi, the film is a story about a father and son and their faithful dog delivering the mail on a 112-mile route to remote mountain villages in southeastern China’s Hunan province.
Sheila Vasami, world-traveler and multi-cultural expert, will introduce the film and lead a post-screening discussion.
