I was the kid who organized the shows at the Summit. I have all the facts if interested.

I brought about 25 well known local musicians from queens up and we put on a killer show for at least 600 kids. The place was a commune before the shows with all us hippies/families all living together. Until a tough motorcycle club over ran the place the 3rd weekend of concerts. Then all us hippies kind of took off. I’m still in touch with some of the guys who played the Summit as well as some of the kids who lived there or visited the place. What a crazy time it was.
