Due to the holiday weekend I had to get my column in early. Sometimes I do not have anything to write about, and I say “I am going to give this up;” then I remember all my readers and I know I cannot disappoint them. I am writing this on Friday, September 1. Twenty-seven years ago I married my husband Tommy, it was a great fun big wedding. Besides the groom, my parents, his parents and a number of other family and friends are all gone. It’s very sad that I have to live with the memories. Tommy insisted that he picked the last song of the night, and it was “Pretty Woman.” He was so funny. As I was dancing around the dance floor wild and crazy, I must have unhooked my slip. Tommy took me in his arms to dance, and I almost fell on my face. I bent over and took my slip off and he grabbed it and started swinging it over his head. Those are the memories I have to keep me going.
