CALLICOON, NY — WJFF Radio Catskill (90.5 FM or wjffradio.org), the community public radio for Sullivan County, Northeast Pennsylvania and the Catskills, will hold a fundraising auction on Saturday, August 25 at the Western Supper Club and Inn. Doors open at 3 p.m. with a live auction beginning at 5 p.m. The eclectic collection of items includes fly fishing instruction, a private guided nature walk, stays at charming B&Bs, wine tastings, cooking lessons, gourmet dinners, artworks, design objects and much more. Auctioneer for the evening will be Greg Triggs, entertainer and host of the “Travels with Triggs” segments heard on WJFF’s Catskill Character program. WJFF is a non-commercial, educational radio broadcaster that aims to involve the community in preserving and transmitting the community’s cultural heritage and artistic expressions in addition to those of the global community, and to promote understanding among people of diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
