BEACH LAKE, PA — Naturalist, forager and writer Laura Silverman will be speaking at the Berlin Township Community Center on Sunday, February 10 at 10:15 a.m. about the healing and transformative powers of nature and the ways we can bring the wild into our lives on a daily basis.
Silverman founded The Outside Institute in 2017 to help connect people to the natural world through guided walks, workshops and culinary gatherings that highlight wild flavors. By nurturing humanity’s innate affinity for all living things, she hopes to inspire joy and passionate stewardship of the land.
The one-hour service will be presented by the Upper Delaware Unitarian Universalist Fellowship and will be followed by a social time with refreshments. All are invited. Directions can be found at www.uduuf.org.
