GOSHEN, NY — The Catholic Charities of Orange, Sullivan and Ulster announced the 2019 Caritas Award honorees this month, organizations and people in the community who “provide help and create hope,” according to the Catholic Charities mission.

The award honorees will be Father Salvatore Cordaro of the New Paltz St. Joseph Church, Armistead Mechanical Inc., the Orange County Judicial Diversion Court, the Sullivan County Judicial Diversion Court, Catskill Regional Medical Center Departments of Emergency Medicine and Behavioral Health.

“Each year, Catholic Charities provides assistance to thousands of individuals and families in need of help and support,” said Dean Scher, CEO of Catholic Charities of Orange, Sullivan and Ulster. “Strong community partners who believe in our mission help make that work possible.” The awards will be presented March 21 at Anthony’s Pier 9 in New Windsor.
