Builders Club helps SPCA

ROCK HILL, NY — The Robert J. Kaiser Middle School Builders Club started June off with a visit to the Sullivan County SPCA. They delivered loads of goodies to the shelter, including food, toys and blankets that were generously donated by the club members as well as other middle-school students and faculty. They had a blast visiting the kitten and cat rooms as well as the dogs in the kennels. Here, club members pose in front of the SPCA Building with their donations. They are accompanied by club faculty advisor Bill Oefelein and Monticello Kiwanis Builders Club advisor Sheila Lashinsky. The Builders Club is sponsored by the Monticello Kiwanis Club. The club’s mission is to provide middle school members with opportunities to perform services, build character and develop leadership.
