HAWLEY, PA — The Youth Advisory Committee of the Wayne County Community Foundation recently awarded a grant to the Wallenpaupack North Intermediate School. The grant will be used to purchase an air mouse and projector for learning support students. This new technology will encourage hands-on and interactive class lessons. The foundation’s Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) familiarizes high school students with the benefits of charitable giving. Wayne County high school students serve on the committee where they review mini-grant applications submitted by county schools.
