The SUNY Sullivan Foundation has announced its 2012 Women Who Make a Difference honorees. They will be honored during a ceremony and cocktail reception at the Club at Villa Roma on August 23 at 5:30 p.m.
The recipients are Phyllis “Penny” Coombe, immediate past chair and current vice chair of the SUNY Sullivan Board of Trustees, for higher education; Dr. Michelle Koury, chief operating officer at Crystal Run Healthcare, for healthcare; Jillian Rahm, coordinator of Rural & Migrant Ministry, for humanitarianism; Julie Allen, community liaison for Congressman Maurice Hinchey, for volunteerism; Danielle Gaebel, co-owner of NaturalContents.com and manager of the Sullivan County Farmers Market, for sustainability; Suzanne Rhulen Loughlin, past chair of the Sullivan County Partnership for Economic Development, for economic development; and Gladys Walker, executive director of Sullivan County CACHE, for human services.
The ceremony and cocktail reception is open to the public by reservation, and the cost is $50 per person. Call 845/434-5700, ext. 4377 no later than August 20.
