CALLICOON, NY — Farmstock, a summer-long series of tours of working farms in Sullivan County, starts out on Memorial Day weekend at two alpaca farms in Callicoon. Rosehaven Alpacas (www.rosehavenalpacas.com), at 540 County Road 164, will host tours at 12:30 and 2 p.m. The farm store will be open, there will be a spinning demonstration and craft corner for kids, and a name the cria contest. Nature’s Reserve Alpacas (www.naturesreservealpacas.com) at 408 River Rd. will offer tours and spinning demonstrations. Call 845/887-2012.
Unless otherwise indicated, Farmstock tours are from 12 noon to 3 p.m. The cost is $6 for adults, $4 for children five through 12.
