As a long-time resident of the Town of Thompson, I have seen a lot of change in the area over the past 40 years. I’ve gone through the Monticello Central School District and am very active in the town.

I’ve worked for New York State Electric and Gas for the past 16 years, as a field service representative for the last 11. The area that I cover is the Town of Thompson in which I represent the customers in every part of the Town consisting of Monticello, Rock Hill, Kiamesha and Harris.

I was elected for the past two terms as a fire commissioner for the Monticello Joint Fire District. With that role, I take part in the decision making with many things including purchasing equipment, contract negotiations with our paid Fire Fighters and decisions on the district’s budget. In addition, I have been a member of the Town of Thompson’s Zoning Board of Appeals for the past two years.

I have been graciously endorsed by the IBEW unions, Democratic and Conservative parties to fill the future vacancy of our retiring Councilman Peter Briggs, which is a great honor for me.

On November 5, or during early voting from Oct 26 till the fifth, vote row 10a or 10c for Ryan T. Schock to continue moving the town in a positive and forward direction.
