I am a small business owner and farmer, running Bashakill Vineyards winery and farm together with my husband, Paul. You might find me cleaning up roadsides or promoting the incredible Bashakill Wetlands Preserve, which is the driving force behind my commitment to environmental sustainability.

I am vice chair of the Mamakating Democratic Committee and trusted member of the ethics board, as well as a member of the Bashakill Area Association and advocate for local farms and farmers, keeping money directly in the community. With my focus on obtaining healthcare and fair hours, I’ve earned endorsement from the hardworking men and women of the CSEA, along with many other local businesses and advocacy groups.

When I talk to my neighbors, what they care about is real government. We all know about the special interests groups, high-density housing being built in our rural areas and the voter fraud that landed many bad players in prison. I am standing up to those groups. I will fight for you. I will fight to keep our voice with the people.

I will continue to fight for clean air, clean water, better roads and economic prosperity with the understanding that we must keep the conscience of the county with its small communities. I am that conscience. Running two businesses and a farm along with everything else, I know what can be done with hard work. And I know the magic of what happens when we all stand together.

Come talk to me anytime. You can find me on weekends cooking at my farm-to-table bistro at Bashakill Vineyards, happy to talk about what issues matter to you… all over a glass of wine.
Vote November 5 for a cleaner, safer, more prosperous Sullivan!
