MILFORD, PA — The ARTery Gallery is holding its second annual exhibit of art by students of the Delaware Valley High School in March.
The gallery is sharing its space with the young artists to celebrate arts in the schools, encourage creativity in young people and encourage the community to share the space.
The gallery collaborates with Delaware Valley High School art teacher Christine Sweeney to prepare the student work for exhibit. For most students, this will be the first opportunity for them to offer their work for sale and have the experience of a professional artist. This year’s selections include many 3-D pieces such as ceramics, plaster stone carvings, jewelry and unusual book sculptures. Painting, drawing and printmaking are also represented.
The show will run through April 9.
