HONESDALE, PA — Growing Older Together (GOT) will host a presentation on senior scam prevention on Wednesday, July 18 from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Earl J. Simons Senior Center, 323 10th St. Social time will follow, and all are welcome to attend.
Senior Supervisory Special Agent Janene Holter from the PA Attorney General’s office will present an engaging and informative program to educate older Pennsylvanians and their families on crime prevention. A dynamic speaker, Holter brings awareness of the threat of fraud to seniors, teaching them how to avoid being victimized and making sure they know who to call when they are concerned about their safety and well-being.
The mission of GOT is to give adult residents, aged 60 and older, in Wayne County, PA and western Sullivan County, NY both the practical means and the connections to live independently in homes of their choice.
