On Sunday, June 17, 2012 at approximately 6:08 am, Ulster County 911 received a report of an unresponsive person in the parking lot of 265 Main Street, Saugerties, NY.
A joint investigation conducted by the New York State Police, town of Saugerties Police Department and the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office determined that Donald E. Briggs, 27, of Saugerties, NY, had fallen from the roof of 265 Main Street and suffered fatal injuries. No signs of a struggle or apparent foul play were noted and all information obtained points to an accidental death.
An autopsy is scheduled and the investigation is continuing. Anyone with any information related to this case is asked to contact the New York State Police in Kingston at (845) 338-1702.
