PORT JERVIS, NY — The Hub at the Port Jervis Free Library will hold two upcoming workshops. On April 7, from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. Ken Herbig and Nancy Conod will present “Using Ancestry.com.” They will show you the basics of locating ancestors you never knew you had using Ancestry.com. They will also use resources that your library offers and free websites to help you in your quest.

On April 8 from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Scott Reichert will present “How To Use Picasa.” Picasa is an image organizer and image viewer for organizing and editing digital photos, plus an integrated photo-sharing website. While originally created by a company named Lifescape, Picasa is now owned by Google, and is offered for free. Reichert will show you how to get started, organize and store your photos, and how to share them and have fun with your family and friends. Both workshops are free. Registration is required by calling 845/772-7586, or by emailing thehub@portjervislibrary.org.
