MILFORD, PA — Pike Imaging Council (PIC) held its second annual print competition at its monthly photography club meeting on December 5. Members of the club are photography enthusiasts ranging from beginners to professionals. John Goldman, winner of this year’s Best of Show, said, “It’s always nice to have one of my photos win something at a juried show with one or two judges, but it is especially nice and gratifying to have my peers judge any of my photos as particularly good.”
The group holds meetings the first Tuesday of every month at the Belle Reve Senior Living Center in Milford. The free monthly meetings provide opportunities for attendees to learn about a variety of photography topics such as composition, macro photography, lighting and a variety of photo editing techniques from guest speakers. Members are also given the opportunity each month to produce images based on a specific theme and have additional photographs shared or critiqued. The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. For more information, visit Pike Imaging Council on Facebook.com or MeWe.com.
