The Pennsylvania State Police Blooming Grove are currently investigating a shooting that occurred on August 18, 2015 in the parking lot of the Silver Lake Tavern, Silver Lake Road, Delaware Township, Pike County.

The victim, Kristopher Hanscom, 23 year old male from Bushkill, Pa. had suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to Pocono Medical Center.

Through the investigation, it was determined that Jared Masker, a 31 year old male from Milford, Pa. shot Mr. Hanscom. Mr. Masker was taken into custody in Branchville, New Jersey.

Mr. Masker was charged with Criminal Attempt-Murder, Aggravated Assault (2 counts), Firearms Not to be Carried Without a License and Possessing Instruments of Crime.
