LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — The 25th Anniversary of the Shandelee Music Festival (SMF) is the ideal time to welcome back alumna Anna Fedorova, who participated in Shandelee’s educational program in 2007 and 2008 and is now one of the world’s premier young pianists. She will perform on Sunday, August 14 beginning at 8 p.m.

Fedorova is a graduate of the Lysenko School of Music in Kiev, and has studied at the prestigious Accademia Pianistica in Imola, Italy and the Royal College of Music, London.
She has performed in many prestigious concert halls around the world including Carnegie Hall, Zurich Tonhalle, Palacio de Bellas Artes(Mexico City) and Warsaw Filharmonia.
“An Evening of Piano Masterworks” will feature the compositions of Ludwig van Beethoven, Frédéric Chopin, Alexander Scriabin and Robert Schumann.
Next week, on Thursday, August 16, Shandelee will present “An Evening of Chamber Music,” featuring the Contista Piano Trio, also at 8 p.m.
All performances in the Sunset Concert Series are followed by a specialty dessert reception. The climate-controlled, Sunset Concert Pavilion is located at 442 J. Young Rd.
