Franklin John Gurney, Sr.

Franklin John Gurney, Sr. of Beach Lake, PA and formerly of Auburndale, FL, died on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Ellen Memorial Heath Care Center in Honesdale. He was 87.

As per his request, cremation services are being arranged by Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale. There will be no public services.

Walter Patrick Heady

Walter Patrick Heady of Callicoon Center, NY died peacefully at his daughter’s home on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. He was 89.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 25 at St. Anthony’s RC Church located on Paris Avenue in Northvale, NJ. Interment was at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery in Shandaken, NY.

Thomas K. “Murph” Murphy, a lifelong resident of Sullivan County, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 19, 2013. He was 50.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23 at Ramsay’s Funeral Home, 3534 Route 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY.

Robert Ernest Harry Reisen

Robert Ernest Harry Reisen departed on November 15, 2013 in The Woodlands, TX. He was a long-time resident of Shohola, PA.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 23 at Harrison Rasmussen Funeral Home, 3412 SR97, Barryville, NY. Interment was in German Hill Cemetery in Shohola; Rev. Mary Owens officiated.
