MONTICELLO, NY — The awards committee for the 2014 Nonprofit Leadership Summit is currently seeking applications for its second annual Nonprofit Innovation Award. The award honors local nonprofit organizations that demonstrate innovation in the areas of collaboration, marketing, organizational operations and programs. It offers a $5,000 cash prize, as well as an opportunity for the organization’s team to present its creative initiatives to the judges and nonprofit leaders at the March 27 event at Bethel Woods.
Applications for this award are welcome from organizations at all levels. “What is really exciting about the Innovation Award is that it rewards nonprofit leaders for thinking outside the box,” said Irene Jones, program development manager for Marshall & Sterling, Inc., who heads the 2014 awards committee.
The deadline for applications is March 3. Sullivan County nonprofits can download an application at www.catskills.com/chamber-information/leadership-sullivan-county.aspx. For questions or additional information, email NonprofitSummit.Awards@catskill.com.
