The DRBC recently published a new report titled “Water Withdrawal and Consumptive Use Estimates for the Delaware River Basin (1990-2017) with Projections through 2060.” The report analyzes 30 years of historic withdrawal data and projects withdrawal demands to the year 2060. Staff recently developed an application (using Power BI) that allows you to explore/visualize all the data in the report. Data can be filtered and also downloaded. Check it out at https://www.nj.gov/drbc/programs/supply/use-demand-projections2060.html.
The DRBC’s quarterly business meeting will take place virtually on Wednesday, December 8, beginning at 10:30 a.m. In addition to the completion of regular Commission business, the meeting will also highlight the DRBC’s 60th anniversary.
