NARROWSBURG, NY — Delaware Valley Arts Alliance winds up the Spring Cultural Series on Saturday, June 7 at 8 p.m. with a concert by the Matt Hoffmann Jazz Quintet, followed by a CD release party for “Communion.”
“Communion” was recorded in a live studio setting at Big Twig Studios in Roscoe, NY and showcases original compositions of Matt Hoffmann (vibraphone/composer), Dylan Canterbury (trumpet), Joe Pietra (piano), Jerad Lippi (drums) and Mario Pietra (bass).
Hoffmann, 27, is a jazz vibraphonist and drummer from Northeast PA. He attended Purchase College SUNY earning a Master of Music degree in Jazz Studies in 2011. He currently works at the Center for Discovery near Monticello and performs regularly on vibraphone.
