At their regularly scheduled monthly meeting on October 21, the Liberty Town Board accepted the preliminary budget for 2014 as presented to them by budgeting and accounting coordinator Cheryl Gerow.
A public hearing for the preliminary budget is scheduled for Monday, October 28 at 5:30 p.m. at the Town Hall, 120 North Main Street in Liberty.
In other business, two Fall Clean-Up Days have been set for this weekend. The Town of Liberty Highway Department, at the corner of Ferndale-Loomis Road and Route 52, will be accepting items on Friday, October 25 from 7:30 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, October 26 from 7:30 a.m. until the dumpsters are full.
