On February 28, 2012 The State Police Liberty arrested an Impaired Driver on a Vehicle and Traffic Stop.Troopers initially stopped a vehicle on Main Street in the Village of Liberty for an expired inspection.
Upon further interview, the Troopers found the driver, Steven Chesney, to be impaired by drugs and located marijuana in the vehicle. He was transported back to the State Police barracks in Liberty for processing and was released on an Appearance Ticket for Operating a Vehicle While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
