The 50th anniversary of Woodstock has come and gone. I got my cancelled stamp envelope from the Bethel Post Office. On Friday night, I went to see Ringo, Edgar Winters and Blood, Sweat and Tears. After taking the bus to Queens Saturday, I came right back up Sunday and decided to get tickets to see John Fogerty. I got the tickets, got home, and suddenly it was like a twister out there. My friends were already at Bethel and the concert was delayed one hour. Thank God for American Electric; my Generac generator kicked in, and that would not have been possible if I did not have a propane tank from Cochecton Oil. What crazy storms we’ve had this summer.

Join the Cochecton Youth Commission in its upcoming events. “Back to School Book Bingo Bonanza” takes place on Friday, September 13 at 6:30 p.m. What is book bingo, you ask? The cost is free for in-town youth and $5 for out-of-town youth or adults.
