MILFORD, PA — The Delaware Valley Choral Society and Symphony Orchestra will perform Handel’s Messiah on Sunday, December 4 at 4 p.m. at the Milford Bible Church. If you have sung the Messiah before, or have ever wanted to sing the Messiah, this is your chance to become part of a special performance complete with symphony orchestra and professional soloists.
Rehearsals for the orchestra will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. and the choir rehearses from 3 to 5 p.m. every Sunday beginning August 28 at the Milford United Methodist Church, located at 206 East Ann St. Auditions will be held after the first two rehearsals (August 28 and September 4) for voice placement. Rehearsal schedules, music, and rehearsal CDs may be obtained prior to the first rehearsal by calling 570/296-5333 or 267-8773.
The Delaware Valley Choral Society is a non-profit group dedicated to performing major choral works in their original form. The Society incorporates aspiring musicians from the area as well as professional musicians to bring major works of music to our community.
