Observe the unfolding of the season

SULLIVAN COUNTY — Laura Silverman, founding naturalist at The Outside Institute, will lead a free, early-morning walk on Tuesday, June 25, to soak up stress-reducing phytoncides emitted by the trees, listen to birdsong and learn about natural phenomena, including wild edibles and medicinal plants.

The walk, from 8 to 10 a.m., is limited to 12 people and registration is required. Details of the location will be emailed directly to participants. Check the forecast and wear rain gear if necessary. Sunscreen, tick repellent and a water bottle are recommended. Register by visiting www.theoutsideinstitute.org/contact.
