Free child passenger safety seats

SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY — Sullivan County Public Health Services operates a Low Income Child Passenger Safety Program funded by a grant from the New York State Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee (GTSC). These grants are awarded to improve highway safety and reduce deaths and serious injuries to children due to automobile accidents.

The parent/guardian must bring proof of low-income status, such as valid Medicaid card, WIC ID or SNAP card; the child; the car seat the child is currently using and the vehicle the car seat will be installed in.

Make an appointment for the next clinic, which will be on July 20. Call 845/292-5910, ext 2271.
