DEERPARK, NY — A one-vehicle accident near Port Jervis High School at 9:45 p.m. on March 10 resulted in serious injuries to two of the car’s four teen-aged occupants. Investigation revealed that the driver of the 2006 Honda CRV lost control of the vehicle while traveling on Hamilton Street, striking a storage container. The driver was extracted from the vehicle by the Port Jervis Fire Department. All four occupants were transported to Garnet Medical Center in Middletown, NY. Serious injuries included a broken leg and a head injury. The accident was not alcohol-related. Investigation is ongoing.
