Dealing with difficult people 101

GLEN SPEY, NY — The Kadampa Meditation Center will host a meditation workshop December 8 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to offer practical tools to deal with difficult people in our lives, with kindness and respect.

If your new year’s resolution is to focus more on breathing and reaching authentic happiness—and you’re planning ahead to reach that goal, the center will also host a retreat January 4 through 6. This beginner-friendly retreat focuses on Buddha’s timeless wisdom and practical methods for bringing about sustainable change and happiness. The cost is $60.

Everyone is welcome and no experience is necessary to participate. The Kadampa center can be found at 47 Sweeney Rd., just north of Hawk’s Nest. Participants can register in advance or drop in. The cost is $20. For more information visit kadampanewyork.org or call 845/856-9000.
