BETHEL, NY — The Delaware Highlands Conservancy announces its annual Firefly Picnic, a free community event on Saturday, September 15 from 4 to 7 p.m. in Bethel, NY. The conservancy’s annual picnic celebrates its local community of supporters and friends and provides an opportunity for the public to learn more about the conservancy while enjoying the beautiful rolling hills, meadows and woods of its Sullivan County office.

The day’s events include a catered dinner from the Fat Lady Café with craft beer selections; live music; a guided hike on the nature trail; and face-painting, crafts, games and fun for all ages. Prior registration for the picnic is required. Register online at www.DelawareHigh lands.org or contact the conservancy at 570/226-3164 or info@delawarehigh lands.org to RSVP and receive directions.
