WHITE MILLS, PA — PaPA (Parker and Parker Art) is the name of a new exhibition space and cultural center housed in the Silk Mill in White Mills. The inaugural spring opening exhibition of PaPA will be on Memorial Day Weekend, May 28, featuring the highlights of the private art collection of Ronald and Yvonne Parker, exhibited at the newly renovated ArtSpace (shown here). This gorgeous space resembles a Chelsea gallery, with 16-foot ceilings and wooden floors.
The Parkers have owned or managed 23 galleries in America and Europe. Their international collection of contemporary art, acquired over a 30-year period, includes paintings, sculptures, photography, installations and assemblages.
The gallery will be open on weekends from 1 to 5 p.m. or by appointment. Visit www.papa18473.com or call 570/296.5055.
