Colon cancer awareness month: get educated

HARRIS, NY — March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month, and Catskill Regional Medical Center wants to remind the community of the importance and effectiveness of colon cancer screenings. On March 1, 2 and 5, Catskill Regional’s Cancer Services Program Leader, Priscilla Rennison, will conduct free public education and targeted outreach sessions at the Sullivan County Government Center. The sessions will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Participants will also be signed up for a free raffle drawing. Monticello Bagel Bakery will provide blue bagels for those who stop by in support of Colorectal Cancer Awareness.
