LORDS VALLEY, PA — “By the Grace of God” is Jean Potter’s story about the traumatic events of 9/11 and the extraordinary effect it had on her and her husband Dan. Jean was working in the North Tower at the time of the incident, and Dan served as a New York City firefighter and was a first responder to the scene. The book covers the impact of the event: having to cope with the effects of post traumatic stress disorder; moving because they could no longer live in a home haunted by three thousand ghosts; giving up their jobs and leaving the city they had grown to love.
To help those still affected by the 9/11 attacks, Jean is donating a portion of the proceeds from her book sales to the Wounded Warrior Project and the FealGood Foundation. The book can be found at amazon.com, Barnes & Noble and other book outlets.
