I am running for Buckingham Township Supervisor to expand conversations that allow all residents to be heard, and to responsively take action by addressing issues that will lead to a stronger community.

I am focused on bringing new ideas and fresh leadership to Buckingham Township and addressing top priorities that include more responsive repair and improvement of state roads, confronting illegal dumping, enhancing the river-based recreational economy and smart-land-use planning through the adoption of ordinances addressing large-scale music festivals in order to respect the quiet enjoyment of each resident’s private property.

Most importantly, I want to make information on the business of the township readily accessible and to provide more ways for residents to connect with supervisors and attend public meetings to express their needs and concerns to be addressed. I want to insure that the elected officials of the township are responsive and accountable.

Many township residents are unaware that numerous federal and state programs that provide critically needed grant funds and technical support to local governments for important infrastructure and social services go untapped year after year in Buckingham Township.

I was elected and served as a Buckingham Township Auditor for eight and I’ve been a resident for 14 years. Prior to that, I frequently visited and supported local businesses and community organizations for 20 years. I’m a property owner on the river where I hunt and fish and understand the importance of private-property rights, proper land management and stewardship of our natural resources. A great example of this is my local ramp (wild leek) business where my care for the land reaps a sustainable crop that I harvest and sell both locally and in NYC. I’m also interested in teaching others, especially youth, about these values which is why I founded the Upper Delaware BioBlitz that educates local residents and visitors about the natural resource bounty of our area.
