MILFORD, PA — The Black Bear Film Festival will take place from Friday, October 20 through Sunday, October 22. The weekend kicks off with a gala at the Hotel Fauchere. The opening night movie, at the Milford Theater, will be “Tab Hunter, Confidential,” followed by a live interview with Tab Hunter. Other movies to be shown include animated film “My Life as a Zucchini,” “Bloodrunners,” a comedy/horror production set in 1933 and “The Wilderness,” a local PA production shot in Promised Land State Park and Greentown, PA about a couple of small-time crooks. There will also be documentaries, student films, shorts and more.
A number of luminaries will also be present at the weekend in addition to Hunter, including John Doman and Tom Fontana, respectively the star and the creator of the television series “Borgia.”
